Tongass Mist Writing 
Based in Southeast Alaska's Tongass National Forest

Tongass Mist Writing is an intimate creative writing project in Southeast Alaska. All events are organized by Sitka and Southeast Alaska local, Ruth Underhill who has been lucky to call Southeast Alaska home since 2018. We offer online, destination and local events with the goal of supporting creative writers in as many situations as possible. For this reason we also offer tiered pricing. Our visiting writers are world class creative writers with a keen interest in providing inclusive learning environments and honoring the awesome wilderness Tongass Mist Writing enjoys in the Tongass National Forest. Tongass Mist Writing recognizes that we live and host guest creatives as guests ourselves in the unceded ancestral home to Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian Alaskan Native peoples.
