About the event
What is your story? Every writer chooses a story to tell when they write a memoir. Memoirs do not begin with time of birth and end with graduation or wedding bells or time of death. No, they intentionally choose one portion of a writer's life or personal relationships to focus upon and delve into the crevices of complexity, meaning and importance of this part of a life.
Come to class with a brief memoir idea to write. You will have time to brain storm in class if you cannot decide prior to class. If you decide prior, you may still change your mind about what your memoir will be for this writing time after hearing about other impactful memoirs published recently.
