On the final night of the all-inclusive Sitka Writers Retreat May 29th- June 2nd we open our doors to share our writing with our Sitka Community. Please come listen to excerpts of our headlining authors' writing and the writing of our retreat attendees as well as other Sitka writers.

About the event
Join the Sitka Writers Retreat at Odess Theater Foyer (or Sitka Public Library; Location TBD) on Sunday June 1st from 7PM -8PM for a reading by our headlinging authors Amy Butcher and Brendan Jones. Retreat attendees and local Sitka writers will also have the opportunity to read. Just reach out to tongassmistwritingretreat@gmail.com if you are interested in reading and we will provide you with our time slots and general guidelines. We look forward to sharing creative community joy with you and the influence of wilderness and sacred Tongass awe on these writings. All writers are welcome. All readers and listeners are welcome.
This event will be PG. It should be acceptable for most children, but content is written by adults and for adults. So, parental supervision is required and discretion advised.
