About the event
Our ancestors tell our story before we arrive. Our ancestors set the stage and line up our genes. Our ancestors tend the lands we call home and bring us into this world on their backs, their shoulders. What stories do you ancestors have yet to tell? What stories have you heard about your own ancestors and wish to honor in story?
Join us for this two hour writing workshop with Molly Barari. Honor your own story by taking time to explore the story of your ancestors who are also a part of you. Help younger generations know their ancestors through the stories your write down. This need not be stories of entire lives. Stories can be small, mundane and even moments in time. Share with your family, the world or just yourself ways that your ancestors, being human like you, existed in the world.
