Join teacher Ruth Underhill for this one hour discussion about creative writing and the arrival of AI. How is original art different from AI and why does creative writing still influence our communities and culture? What sets new writing by human hand and mind apart from robotic formula writing? Enjoy some contemplative prompts and a lively conversation with all in attendance.
About Your Teacher, Ruth Underhill
Ruth lives and works in Tenakee Springs, Alaska where she bakes pies occasionally, serves as the towns public librarians, teaches remotely for the University of Alaska Southeast and hosts classes, retreats and other events through Tongass Mist Writing. Ruth is also an independent editor. She is currently working on her first memoir which grapples with war, wilderness and what it means to be a nurse who maintains the fragility of feeling each human interaction. She loves to fall asleep to the sound of whales…
