Sitka and Visitors! Join Tongass Mist Writing at the 2025 Sitka Porch Fest. You'll find us on Lincoln Street offering Poetry on Demand and Community Storytelling Prompts. Drop in and request a poem by word or subject. Drop in and write a response to one of our prompts !
Poetry on Demand will be offered via typewriter! Enjoy the sound of old kinetic compositions and see what happens when you drop a word or subject to the writer for composition! Tongass Mists Ruth Underhill will be writing along with other local Sitkan writers. Requests can be picked up immediately upon completion of the poem, or you are welcome to returnt o the tent to pick up your poem after visiting other Porch Fest exhibits, tents and offerings!
