About the event
You seek solace in wild spaces with like minded creatives,. You are ready to commit a full week to creative writing and Tongass forest awe. You crave the chance to step away from your fast-paced life. You desire support in your creative writing journey and have a writing project in process or on your mind. You've heard Alaska is an incredible place; sacred, wild and larger than life. You are open to learning about the history of Alaska Native communities and the complexities of cultural reclamation after systemic brutality against indigenous people in Alaska. You have a deep respect for the wild and wonder what it is like to be in a small community surrounded by, actually part of the largest intact temperate rainforest on the continent. You'd like to see whales, eagles, old growth spruce and hemlock, cedar forests.

There are no scholarships at this time, but this may change should funding change!
