About the event
Picture this. It is Friday evening. Your friends are meeting at the same bar again. There's snow turned slush on the ground and your Uggs are soggy. You want to go home, put on your flannel pajamas and drink wine or cocoa in front of the television.
But then you remember! It's Tongass Mist book club day and you will be meeting on Zoom with a group of other quirky literature enthusiasts to discuss Taylor Swift AND Sylvia Plath. You're discussing these two icons together because Maggie Smith- who is absolutely brilliant- wrote a tiny little, purple covered, book about both of them and how similar they may be. It's called 'the slicks'.
Now, you REALLY can't wait to get home, charge your computer, grab some snacks and wait for the GLITTER!
This could be November 20th in your life.
