Now open! Tongass Mist Writing operates at Tongass Mist Pies as well this summer in Tenakee Springs, Alaska. We are serving coffee and pies all summer long. If you're in town stop in for a visit or one of writing workshops! If you are not in town, but would love a homemade pie from Southeast Alaska's Tongass rainforest, reach out and order one today. We supply many types of pies. In July, the favorite pie is our seasonal rhubarb; harvested right here in Tenakee! Tongass Mist Writing's vision has always been creative writing art development and community building. The opportunity to operate this small local bakery offers both of these things. We currently have weekly community art gatherings in the bakery, host community dinners and will be hosting our Tenakee Springs Writers Retreat events and meals in the bakery as well!
