About the event

In this class teacher Elizabeth Mayorca will guide writers into exploration of their thoughts and feelings that have been unexpressed and unlived, the parts of themselves that have been hidden in the shadow.
After studying excerpts from memoirs and writings about the shadow self, we will mirror these expressions in generative writing exercises, allowing a whole new vision of ourselves to come out on the page.

Elizabeth Marquis~Mayorca received an MFA in Creative Nonfiction and Poetry from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and a BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU, where she received the Rod Marriot Playwriting Award.
